If you are looking for something to do outside of the typical Arkansas activities of hiking, biking or chasing waterfalls, look no further than a trip to several Arkansas wineries.
Did you know Arkansas wine goes all the way back to the late 1800’s? It’s true! Arkansas vintners were producing wine well over 100 years ago and likely would have a much larger presence now, had it not been for prohibition slowing things down a touch. The fact of the matter is, even though half the counties in Arkansas are still dry, there are a growing number of Arkansas wineries – and a number of original ones – enough for an Arkansas wine trail! Many vintners from other Southern regions like Texas are now eyeing Arkansas Land for Sale to move the operations this way. Land is a lot cheaper for them here and taxes are much less.
