Home of University of Arkansas Razorbacks. Go Hogs! Fayetteville sits deep with in the Ozarks in and is the county seat of Washington County. Proudly it was named the 3rd best place to live in the US in 2016.

Two of the most popular things to do here are enjoying the abundance of outdoor activities and our flourishing arts scene. Since it has a temperate climate year round, visitors can play outside during every season, whether it’s hiking, biking or floating a nearby river. Almost every week, this lovely town hosts events that showcase and celebrate the city’s eclectic personality. Examples include Wizard Way of the Ozarks, a convention inspired by all things wizards, witches, magic and fantastical creatures; the Dickson Street Pub Crawl, where furry friends get to bar hop, too; Northwest Arkansas Pride, the largest LGBTQ pride celebration in Arkansas; First Thursday Fayetteville, a monthly block party that turns the Historic Downtown Square into an arts district.

Lucky for you there are a ton a great places to grab a bite to eat. Among our favs are: Buttered Biscuit on College Rd., Ella’s Table at Carnal Hall (located on U of A campus, Leverett Lounge, anything on Dixon St. OPO on the square.

Things to Do

Check out any of the Razorback games. See a play at the Walton Preforming Arts Center. Take a walk or bike ride on the 36 miles of Razorback Greenway. Enjoy a day at Lake Fayetteville where you can walk, bike, kayak or play volley ball. Visit the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.
