West Fork is located in Washington County about 10 miles South of Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas. It is located in the west fork of the White river, hence the name. Alongside the river is Riverside Park, a common spot for recreational activities such as parties and reunions. The park features playground equipment, several pavilions, many benches, and a walking path.
The best known attraction for this area is Devil’s Den State Park. The 2,500-acre park was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, beginning in 1933. Devil’s Den State Park is in the Lee Creek Valley in the Boston Mountains, which are the southwestern part of The Ozarks. The park, with an 8 acres, CCC-built lake, is open for year-round recreation, with trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Devil’s Den State Park also has several picnic areas, a swimming pool and cabins, with camping sites ranging from modern to primitive.
This is a smaller community perfect for the nature lover! There are a couple local bank branches, a local Harps Grocery Store, Dollar General and a public library. There is even an Elementary, Middle and High School.
Many of the town activities are led by volunteers of the library or local schools. There is a small farmers market downtown on Saturdays.
This is a small community of only around 3,000 people but it is a tight nit community where neighbors look out for neighbors.

Cattle and horses are currently running the land. Great Deer hunting! 18min to Prairie Grove & 25min to Fayetteville plus additional access from Bug Scuffle Rd for easy load out.
